Lisa J. Haynes is a speaker, board member, and dual-certified executive and retirement coach who helps high-achieving professionals—especially senior leaders and executives—navigate reinvention.

Today, she focuses on what most people miss—the non-financial side of transition. While many professionals prepare financially for what’s next, few are prepared for the identity shift, loss of structure, and quiet uncertainty that often follow a successful career. Known as the Chief Reinvention Wingwoman, Lisa helps individuals and organizations move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose through speaking, coaching, and strategic advisory.

She brings more than 35 years of executive leadership experience across organizations including Fannie Mae, John Hancock, and the Mortgage Bankers Association, where she served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer. A CPA and Chartered Financial Consultant, Lisa has led through complex financial and regulatory environments and brings deep expertise in financial governance and strategy.

Her experience includes playing a pivotal role in the $6.3 billion financial restatement at Fannie Mae and leading SEC reporting at John Hancock following demutualization. She has managed and advised on budgets totaling $2 billion and co-led a $100 million loan accounting system conversion supporting a $3 trillion loan portfolio.

Prior to retiring in 2024, Lisa strengthened governance and financial oversight at the Mortgage Bankers Association, working closely with Audit and Investment Committees and helping oversee more than $100 million in operating reserves. She also led the organization’s rapid transition to fully remote operations during COVID.

Lisa serves on the Advisory Board of Porte Management Agency and as a board director for The Bridge Solution, bringing financial expertise, governance insight, and executive leadership experience. She has been recognized as a Woman of Influence by HousingWire, a Top 50 Financial Leader by National Diversity First, and Nonprofit CFO of the Year by Association Trends.
